Bentley Raceway and Cable Management can run inside or outside the ProjectWise environment. The PW.CFG configuration file is used to set the Bentley Raceway and Cable Management work mode. It is located at C:\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley Raceway and Cable Management CONNECT Edition\BRCM\config\appl. The PW_DISABLE_INTEGRATION_FROM_DESKTOP=1 variable sets Bentley Raceway and Cable Management to run outside of the ProjectWise environment (the Data Set and DGN files are typically located on a network outside of ProjectWise).

When the PW_DISABLE_INTEGRATION_FROM_DESKTOP=1 variable is commented out, it initiates the Bentley Raceway and Cable Management work mode for the ProjectWise environment.

If the PW_DISABLE_INTEGRATION_FROM_DESKTOP=1 variable is commented out but additional configuration is required for full ProjectWise integration, or ProjectWise is not installed on the machine, following message will display:
